A
word from the band
"Tis with great
pleasure we announce some live performances for the New Year
and the appointment of Lisa, our new bass player. After a really
strange year we are now firing on four again and look forward
to a hectic and busy 2006. We arguably played one of our
best ever shows and released our best album, but that ain’t
enough. We want more, badly… To that end we’ve
been rehearsing up a set since November 05 before starting
work on new material such as a new song ‘Rawstate’ we’re
all dead exited about. Hope to see lot’s of new and old
friends at our
shows where our current ‘Everything
Matters’ album will
be available for £10."

| Originating in Portsmouth
in the mid 80's, Red Letter Day are the archetype of international
punk rock. Red Letter Day have a history, some of which is told
through the 19 tracks on “Chance Meetings: The Best
of Red Letter Day.” They also have a future, with
a slightly revamped lineup and a new three-track CD single called “Nettle” (2004).
The tracks “Nettle,” “Ramraid” and
an amazing rendition of Thirst’s “Make a Choice” was
a teaser for their new full length album "Everything
Matters". |
