Perth’s Supercope have been invited to play a showcase in Japan during July 2005. An extended tour of Japan is being planned! Album “Torpedo” is now available though Japan’s Painted Sky label.

Superscope was formed in 1995, and wasted no time in getting national radio play for their initial single “Home And Away”. When Zip Records signed the band in 2000, a new single "Girls Smile/Girls Talk" was released and brought the band renewed acclaim. A follow-up single was recorded in August 2001, with tracks "Lizzie" and “Sail Away”. Less pop and more of an indie rock sound, Melbourne's Beat Magazine announced Superscope as one of the most promising acts in Australia.
