Hailing from Portsmouth,
UK, Thirst's debut album From Mouth to Skin spawned four hit
singles in the UK in 2000 and 2001. Thirst are tough, melodic,
grunge, metal, rock and pop with lead singer Chris Perrin demonstrating
energy and emotion which leaps out the speakers, they are compared
to Nirvana fronted by Jeff Buckley and Neil Young with the Red
Hot Chili Peppers rhythm section.
Darlings of the Kerrang! and Rock Sound set, Thirst knew they
had something good and they ran with it with full time frenzy.
It’s only a matter of time until the rejuvenated Thirst
rears it’s less than ugly head. |
