Known
as “Eva Braun” to
local fans in Yugoslavia, the name was changed to “Viva
Brown” for the U.S. in hopes that we could get a paper
towel sponsorship among other things.
The Zip Records CD-EP “Nowhereland” was
released in 2000 and contained a six-song collection of revolutionary,
beautiful, pop. Five of the tracks are sung in English; the
sixth song has Serbo Croatian lyrics.
In 2004, the band continues to bear the torch of melodic pop
music in the Balkans. Fronted by Goran Vasovic, Viva Brown
are a band that will be heard from again on these American
shores.
