Monokino is signed to Modern Sky for mainland China: MONOKINO just finished a successful tour through the USA with highlights including official shows at the SXSW festival 2014. The songs of Monokino's new album "Fake Virtue" were greatly received by many festival participants. Overall over 100 USA college radio stations added the album to their libraries. Monokino frequently tour Europe, China and North America and have worked together with producer Tony Visconti and singer Kristeen Young. Monokino's critically acclaimed sophomore album “Fake Virtue” has been produced by Jacco Gardner.

Monokino weaves ear-piercing synthesizers, cleverly arranged guitars and pounding drums with a highly-exceptional voice to produce futuristic sounding, awe-inspiring pop. Ever since Monokino was signed by Modern Sky Asia, they have been gaining speed while frequently touring in China as well as in Europe and the USA. Highlights of Monokino's shows abroad were performances at the World Expo in Shanghai (China, 2010), Strawberry Festival in Beijing and Shanghai (China, 2013 with Travis and Deerhoof), SXSW (United States, 2009 & 2014). Last year they performed at showcase festival NXNE (Toronto) and Sled Island (Calgary) where they were considered highlight of the festival.
